Roxanne Boryczki, 2011 Inductee

Recognized as the founder of the Fountain Hills/Fort McDowell Visitors Bureau, Mrs. Boryczki has been very active over the years with the Fountain Hills Chamber of Commerce and other local organizations. A 25-year resident of Fountain Hills, she is the owner of AZ Trails Travel. With the Chamber, she served six years on the board, including one year as chairman. She led the Chamber’s fund-raising effort to purchase sculptures for the community’s public art display. She was named Fountain Hills Business Person of the Year in 2002. She created the concept of the annual Pony Express Days and is also a member of the Fountain Hills Historical Society, the Paradise Republican Women’s Club, and was the first female member of the Fountain Hills Lions Club. As a member of many state and national travel industry organizations, she has received numerous professional honors. Roxanne currently sits on the Board of Directors for Ensemble Travel Group, a consortia of 850 travel agencies across the US and Canada. A former director and officer of the Arizona Adventure Network, she has been a speaker at the Arizona Governor’s Conference on Tourism, Fountain Hills High School Hospitality classes, Scottsdale Community College, other chambers and civic associations. She was honored as one of the top 100 finalists in North America based on travel agents who contributed to the betterment of their communities. Her office has been recognized the last five years as one of the top 100 producing agencies in North American by Ensemble Travel Group.
