Kramer, Aggie

Aggie Kramer, 2004 Inductee

Aggie and Darwin Kramer came to Rio Verde in 1975 when the development was beginning. Darwin was a sales manager and Aggie the Activities Director. She was also a one-woman Chamber of Commerce as she started the first newsletter, picked up visitors at the airport, organized picnics along the Verde River and saw that each family received a Mexican pot filled with fruit. Many Rio Verde residents credit Aggie with being the single most important person to make them feel welcome and wanted as a part of the community. In 1980 the Kramers were one of seven founding families for the Community Church. Ever since, Aggie has served the church as Music Director and full-time choir director. She also directs the Verdes Community Chorus. Fortunately for Fountain Hills, she has been an active member of the Lower Verde Valley and Fountain Hills Historical Society and the Verde Valley Arts Council. She is an active member of the Board of Directors of the River of Time Museum Foundation.
