Dori Wittrig, 2016 Inductee

Ms. Wittrig was raised in the Williamette Valley of Oregon in a farming and construction family. She has been a resident of Fountain Hills since 1985. Her passions include staying fit and active with Pilates, travel, wine, horses, entertaining, cooking, gardening and her family. She is president and the designated broker for Sonoran Lifestyle Real State. She focuses on relationship-based representation for home-buyers and sellers specializing in Fountain Hills and the East Shea corridor.

Her early career was spent with Fountain Hills’ master developer, MCO Properties, Inc. and its subsidiary,MCO Realty. For 13 years, she was New Home Sales Manager where she was involved in development of dozens of new home communities and custom home building. After starting Sonoran Lifestyle Real Estate in 2001, her marketing, expertise and experience with world-class luxury development led the company to prestigious opportunities with quality home developments.

She was able to guide her company through the turbulent years of the housing crisis with creative programs that educated the community about the challenges and opportunities of the short sale and foreclosure industry. Through all of these chapters, she was always focused on helping people love Fountain Hills as much as she does. She is always willing to throw her personal energies and that of her company behind community events, particularly those that support the youth of the community.

She has helped create and expand programs such as the Stroll in the Glow and Halloween in the Hills and supports the PTO, sporting and school events and the Fountain Hills Coalition. In 2002, she created the Great Sonoran Road Rally that has netted thousands of dollars in contributions for the Extended Hands Food Bank and other local organizations. In 2013, she founded the Bruce Laessig Memorial Scholarship in memory of her life partner, who passed away that year, benefiting vocationally-minded graduating high school seniors.
